The Christchurch Gourmet Bike Tour is the perfect activity for people who love good food and gorgeous scenery.

Starting in Cathedral Square you will be fitted with a bike and helmet. Your guide will introduce you to lots local flavours as you pedal and sample your way around the city.

You will experience a selection of the best food places in town which may include the Canterbury Farmers’ Market, a boutique coffee roastery, a cheesemonger, a fudge factory, and a cupcake bake house (subject to availability and season). Your next stop will be at an historic microbrewery to sip on some of Canterbury’s award-winning boutique ales. You will be shown around this small operation that is recognised around the world for its unique and naturally brewed beer. Cheers!

The finale of the tour is a three course tasting lunch of fresh Canterbury cuisine at an outstanding and elegant restaurant situated in the picturesque Botanic Gardens. The restaurant has its very own fruit and vegetable garden and is run under the principles of environmental sustainability.
