Farmer’s Market Bike Tour 

Enjoy a pleasant guided cycle tour out to the Christchurch Farmers’ Market at the historic Riccarton House.  Sample some of Canterbury’s finest produce and mingle with the locals while soaking up the ambiance and listening to live music. Tour departures are at 10am on Saturday’s.

 

It is a fifteen minute leisurely bicycle ride out to the lovely grounds and homestead of Riccarton House and the Christchurch Farmers’ Market. Nestled in amongst the Oak trees beside the stream, you will soak up the ambience of live music and sample some delicious locally grown produce and gourmet food. This is your opportunity to savour the flavour of Canterbury… You quickly forget that you are still in the city.

You will enjoy biking on the traffic free cycle-ways with plenty of open space and fresh air.

Enjoy pedalling back through the beautiful estate of Mona Vale, with its sculptured gardens, through the leafy Little Hagley Park and onward to the city.
