2010 Rugby World Cup Tickets
Time is running out for fans to buy individual match tickets to next year's rugby World Cup, with the second phase ballot closing at 5pm on Friday 8th of October 2010.

Rugby World Cup 2011 chief executive Martin Snedden said it would also be the last chance to enter the ballots for tickets to the semifinals and final.

Fans will find out whether they have been successful or not in those ballots in mid-February next year. Successful ticket application for other games will be confirmed via email later this month.

Approximately 400,000 individual tickets have been made available for phase two for all matches, except the semi-finals and the final.

In phase one - which ended in May this year - fans from 85 countries bought 503,000 tickets worth $76 million.

Mr Snedden said demand for tickets had been as expected: "The volume of applications has been in line with our expectations, with strong interest from overseas-based fans continuing."

There had been strong demand for tickets to some matches at Eden Park, and the quarterfinals in Wellington and Christchurch where there was limited availability, he said.
