Hen's Do Idea's in Christchurch
Treat the bride-to-be and friends on a Gourmet Bike Tour of Christchurch. Over four hours your group can sample their way through the city with beer tastings, delicious cupcakes and sweet treats, high tea, coffee and mystery wine/food tastings. There are plenty of options for culinary quizes, games and dress ups also… not to mention the fantastic photo opportunities with the bikes all being baby blue retro style with baskets and bells. There is the option to do this as a walking tour if some of the ladies do not want to get helmet hair!

For more information and special group rates, call Christchurch Bike Tours on 0800 PEDALS or 03 355 2228.

A Great Cinema Experience in Christchurch
The Metro Gold on Worchester Street is a great place to experience a Movie.... My husband and I treated ourselves in the weekend and went to see the New Zealand made movie "Boy". We enjoyed our big comfy seats, great coffee from the Lyttelton Coffee Company, fine wine and some salty peanuts....

There are three theatres, each is unique and décor is modelled on the grand picture palaces, all fitted with the latest cinema systems, all with luxurious armchairs, and all offering top quality films in a sophisticated relaxing environment.

We will definitely going back to the Metro Gold for another movie experience soon...
