The CCC has developed an excellent newsletter that keeps you up-to-date on all things 'Rugby World Cup 2011' for the Canterbury region. The July edition includes some rugby related tourist activities that may be of interest during your stay in Canterbury for the World Cup.

On Saturday 7th of August rugby fans will make their way to Christchurch to catch the action at AMI Stadium for the Bledisloe Cup.
With a 7.35pm kick off, there is plenty of time to explore the garden city prior to the match. Two-hour bike tours of Christchurch will run at 10am and 2pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of August 2010.
These tours will include a stop outside Robbie Deans old school grounds (Christ's College) and you will also get the chance to explore Riccarton Bush and Deans Cottage (where Robbie Deans ancestors first set up their new life in New Zealand.) Christchurch Bike Tours are heading out on a two-hour tour to the Canterbury Farmers' Market at Riccarton House this weekend - Saturday 10th July.
