1. Drive out to She Cafe in Governor's Bay to sample one of their many fantastic chocolate drinks, and soak up the amazing views of the harbour from their outside deck setting... very romantic!
2. Take a stroll through Mona Vale Gardens while the daffodils are in full bloom and enjoy Devonshire Tea at the Mona Vale Homestead... this is a great ladies treat!
3. Take the ferry from Lyttelton to Diamond Harbour and enjoy a long cold beer at the historic Godley House. Enjoy great views of the harbour out on the lawn.
3. Meander around the Canterbury Farmers' Markets at the historic Riccarton House on Saturday mornings. There is always live music, great food and a humming atmosphere. This is a wonderful place to catch up with friends and family. If you feel like being environmentally friendly, you could join the Christchurch Bike Tour and cycle out to the markets and back.
